Loxosceles reclusa - Brown recluse. One of the main ways to ID this potentially harmful spider apart from other similar looking, though harmless spiders is the 3 pairs of front facing eyes. Other similar spiders will have 8 eyes instead of 6.

                                  Some sort of fishing spider.

Nursery web spider (family Pisauridae) preying upon a moth.

Io moth caterpillars. I didn't see these guys when I found them. Instead, I brushed my arm against them, only to feel a burn worse than almost any other bite or sting I've received.

                                  Picture
                                  Mayfly sp. in flight.

Centruroides vitattus - Striped bark scorpion. Although not this particular individual, I was stung on the tip of the finger by another, larger adult. The initial pain lasted approximately half and hour and was accompanied by a bit of light headedness. Once the pain subsided, there was some tingling and numb feeling throughout my hand that lasted another approximately 20 hours.
